Deborah Ashlie, RN, BA, has over 25 years of experience in all phases of cardiac as well as obstetrics nursing care. She is a water fitness instructor certified by the Aquatic Exercise Association (AEA) and has been teaching a wide variety of water fitness classes since 1995.
Deborah is well known for her work with special populations, including a class for expectant mothers called Aqua Moms®. Her Aqua Hearts® program was recognized with the CIRCLE OF EXCELLENCE AWARD at Southwest Washington Medical Center in Vancouver, WA in 1999. Deborah is a member of the SWMC Cardiac Rehabilitation Team which in 2001 received the CREDO CHAMPION AWARD in recognition of its outstanding contributions to patient care.
Deborah's contagious enthusiasm and experience have made her water fitness classes and workshops very popular and successful.
